For me the fix was easy, a leaky vacuum switch on the brake or clutch. And
yes, a hardware 'o' ring should fix it. I found this out after replacing the
switch, then taking the old one apart and seeing how simple a device it was.
    You can do some trouble shooting by locating the vacuum hoses  at the LF
fender liner and using a vacuum pump, see if you have any leaks. A hose
runs to the device that holds the thottle open as well as to the
clutch/braked switches. That's all I know about that. Someday, I may fix the
200's cruise ctrl and learn a bit more.
