Subject: [s-cars] ABS not, Update yes

Folks, FWIW
Tracking my "brake" & "abs light on" problem via vagcom early this AM
pointed to the left rear.
Oh isn't that where my perhaps slightly misadjusted HRSB hits the
spring on occasion? Don't ask.
Quickly dragging out my $55 sams club michelen floor jack I soon
discover that it is not Brooklyn tumbleweed but that the brackett that
holds the abs sensor wire and the HRSB has broken in two creating
pullage on der sensor wire.
After releaving the slightly pinched wire and a fast call to Chris
(Sanford) Semple at
 <http://www.force5auto.com> http://www.force5auto.com , the light is out
and a new old bracket is
on the way.
And okay well so now I'll adjust to some proper clearance clarence
upon the new bracket install.
Thanks for listening.

To quote Hannibal: "I love it when a plan comes together". Good you
tracked it down. Better that it was self inflicted (BTalwaysDT). Another
quote that I constantly repeat to myself: "If it ain't broke mod it until
it is"... gotta love it Bill.

Least you figured it out before you got your vector Victor and the trans
came out.

-Paul trying to stay ahead of the failures, heck, even got my keyless entry
working again whoo hooo which means now like 3 more things will now break K.
