Ok so those who recall... a few days ago I was stating how the car has
been running rich and no one can figure it out. Had a weird glitch
today...

I get in the car after work, start it up. Immedietly the temp warning
light comes on... run out to the front, check the coolant, full. Get
back in the car, light is off... drive it very carefully for a couple
miles watching the temps... they get up to normal, and stay there.
Couple minutes later I look at the A/F and realize it's operating
normally, not running rich anymore. Horsed her a bit... (16 psi or
so), pulling smooth and strong... stayed this way all the way home.

What are the odds that the light coming on for no reason is a
coincidence?? It seems to me like this may be evidence that a sensor
somewhere is not functioning properly?

If the ECU is not getting a signal from a temp sensor will it run a
default rich program or anything along those lines?
