are you sure the sunroof/window control module is dead?  it might not
be.  it could just be the yellow wire from the central locking module
causing it to activate repeatedly and rapidly.  try removing the A1 relay
from under the hood, which i believe is what fred munro did.

in my case, the repeated cycling killed my dual relay, and i had to replace
it.  i think chris at force 5 auto has some for $80 each, which is a lot
better than $300 for a new one from the dealer.

i also cut the yellow wire, thereby losing the all window/sunroof close
feature when locking the door, but i never used it much anyway.
