[s-cars] Intermittant missing.

IMHO, that's the coil you should discount, not the POS. Bad coils are
known to miss at high boost, usually with no effect at low boost or
idle. Intermittent miss from POS have been reported sometimes but,
usually, they fail completely without warning. I would check the plug
boots for cracks first. Also the connectors on the POS.

Objet : [s-cars] Intermittant missing.
93 S4.
I have some extremely intermittant missing. It only occurs when the car
is
cold, and not all the time, being very very infrequently, mostly at low
revs. Once warm, it no longer occurs.
My thoughts:
Plug boots?
Plugs?
A coil issue?
I have discounted the power stage output because it doesn't occur at
high
boost.
Any thoughts. It isn't a huge issue becase it only occurs when cold,
but I
would like to figure out what it is and cure it.
Thanks,
James Shackelford
