[s-cars] wet spark plug - dead spark plug?

Hi.
Couple month ago there was a thread about wet (gas)  spark plug and 
several people said that spark plug is no good if was wet.  I don't 
understand that, frankly speaking.  What volatile gas can do to spark 
plug? 
In my case I got whole spark plug in oil.   It is F5DPOR - $12 a piece 
chippest.  I am turning to common wisdom for advise:  what to do?  Will 
it work ok if  I clean it with brake cleaner and maybe get baked a 
little?
