Chris:  Based on recent rear caliper "issues", I can say forget
"MityVac" as a candidate.  Sure it drawns fluid out but it also draws
air from around the bleeder screw threads.  You can never tell when you
have the air out because you always get bubbles.  I ended up using the
old "wife-on-the-peddle" trick.  There are some one-man bleeders (hose
with a pressure-activated, spring return one-way foot valve).
Personally, I think a pressure bleeder is a better idea as per Fred
Munro's suggestion to me.
