[s-cars] Samco Hose Owners (From Group buy in Q3/2003):Lower IChose too short?

Over the past year or so my Michelin-man hose seemed to be too short
(I've had it for several years), and the hose clamp kept sliding off the
end on the plastic cross-over pipe.  I suspect k24 turbo-compressed
inlet air, which is very hot at 1.3 bar, aged the plastic, both
shrinking it in length and diameter.  I now have an NEA aluminum
crossover and haven't had any clamp problems since it was installed.
