[s-cars] Alternatives to RS2 Injectors

In '78 (and before and for a while after) it's true - Lucas truely earned
their reputation as the Prince of Darkness. I haven't seen a (newer) Jag on
the side of the road lately, and the chorus of nay-sayers seems to have
quieted. If you need to hold the grudge I can't stop you, but the Lucas of
old is not the Lucas of today. Was the disaster in question a new injector?
How did its failure torch the car? Usually when an injector fails they just
go inert and stop passing fuel - I've never heard of one blowing apart or
anything.

Has anyone had a problem with new Lucas injectors?
