I just finished the timing belt on my 90Q20V. Not too bad. 8h including
coolant system clean up with TSP and Oxalic acid, T-stat, aux rad delete
and removal of propeller shaft heat shield plus a 45 min. break for
lunch. My estimate for the T-belt, including acc. belt, water pump and
ilder pulley, is around 5h.
So, now Im trained on the 90Q20V, Im considering doing the S6 my self
too. How long should it be, compared to the 90Q20V (including serp.
belt, pulley and water pump but no T-stat as it was changed 8 mo. ago).
My main problem is I rent a lift to do my mechanic and it close at 5. It
open at 7 so I can have up to 10h. Sounds enough, right?
Vincent.
