i just looked at http://www.turboneticsinc.com/intercoolers.html
why do you say the spearco is a fin and tube design? it looks like
a stacked plate intercooler to me. e.g.

anyway, sounds like i better buy some argon and aluminum wire so i
can practice welding aluminum.
