[s-cars] FMIC Alternatives - ROT thoughts

For a less expensive and intrusive alternative, check out water injection.
No pressure loss like an intercooler, and if sized properly, dramatically
reduces intake temps. Very little plumbing, easily removable, and costs
around $650.
I ran the Aquamist system on my '93 S$ full RS2 + Stromung at many track
events, and the difference with and without water injection running was
dramatic. If the washer fluid reservoir ran dry mid-session, the car would
revert to its heat soaked self, noticeably slower (1.5-2 seconds per lap at
Watkins Glen) and less eager to go fast.
