[s-cars] boost gauge!

After doing it once, I personally found it to be a lousy place to put a
boost gauge. First, I found I missed having a clock more than I thought I
would.
2nd, and only in IMPO, you want the thing located at least peripherally
somewhere within your line of sight but this is certainly one of those YMMV
issues. Unfortunately it is also relatively speaking, a lot of work to put
the gauge in you instrument cluster.
My suggestion would be to try a temporary location in one of the more usual
and relatively easy to reach/install spots, i.e. the A pillar, or your can
flip a pod and mount one unobtrusively below the left side driver vents.
Drive the car for awhile. Note how often you find yourself making use of
the gauge; try to imagine how comfortable you would be if on those occasions
your eyes were looking at/trying to read the clock or oil temp gauge (& make
allowance for the fact that unlike the clock or oil temp gauge, what you are
trying to read on the boost gauge is a much more "active" &/or transitory
event) and then decide if you really want the gauge for reference, or just
to for the purposes of adding more bling - bling to the car.
