Let us review FWIW:
Ignition switch blew last sunday., i.e. lites, turn signals, hvac light went off.
Car ran till I arrived at destination, then no start.
Faint smell of burning electrics,,, (hopefully ignition switch itself.)
Installed new switch (old one was broken in the classic fashion) and test twisted it with screwdriver to insure key portion was okay.  Still no turn over.
Pulled code 00513 'engine speed sensor.'  That checked okay and starter okay too.
Next???  I dunno:/
Any fuses or relays to check?  All fuses I could find were okay except one 15 amp on passenger side wall, aft section 15 amp.  This may be for the afterrun pump?
I'm going to remove drivers side panel below steering wheel and look around but would appreciate suggestions.
With any luck some day, I can get my fmic installed and join the banter on that thread.  
In the mean time, I remain in free fall off the slippery slope.
