Nope, that's false and just BS. Too rich means losing power because of a
"damp" combustion chamber, BTDT several times on the dyno. Of course, too
lean means easy knocking, but knocking means 14.3:1 AFR at WOT and a good
HP/torque mixture is around 13.2:1 AFR at WOT...

Hehe, didn't you notice I live in Europe? Apart from that, I don't need
Herr Link (who is a man for whom I have invaluable respect from a tuner's
standpoint BTW) to tune my car because I do it myself, and I prefer as well
to fine-tune cars on the street, the main reason behind this being that you
don't drive your car on a dyno but on the street.
