Sandy-
New rotors might need some breaking in, but I'd
bleed the brakes anyway, just in case.

Subject: [s-cars] New rotor question

Hey all,

I replaced the front rotors on the S4 this past
saturday (993tt) and since then, the brake pedal has
had a very mushy feel. My first guess was that the old
pads were still trying to acclimated themselves to the
new rotor surfaces but could it also be air in the
system? I can't imagine it would be air since I didnt
have to open the system for any reason, just relocate
the calipers (996tt) while I swapped rotors. Any
similar experiance with new rotors, guys? I'll bleed
the fronts just in case probably.

Sandy
