[s-cars] Brake Sensor Light

There are NOT rear sensors as well. The dash warning light does not need to
be reset. Unplug one side and attach a jumper wire into the terminals of the
female connector coming from the car. Not the pads. Is the light still on?
Do same on the other side if so. Is the light still on? Should not be on any
longer if terminals and wiring to terminals are good. Connect a continuity
tester between the terminals on the pads. There should be continuity between
these two terminals on the pads. The terminals on the pads are a sort of
jumper wire. It is a loop that goes into the pad and when the pads wear to
the point where the wire is positioned in the pad it becomes worn through
and is "broken". This turns the dash warning light on. You are sure you are
seeing the pad warning light and not a "brake light" warning?

Tim Leonard
