[s-cars] Brake-wear sensors

S-men,
The previous owner of my 93 S4 put on front brake pads without the sensors, in fact the wiring for the sensors has been removed.  I can't seem to locate the route for the wiring and don't easily have another car to look at.  I know how it attaches to the brakes but where does it attach in the engine compartment?  Are there any sites with pictures? Any help greatly appreciated.
