Subject: [s-cars] Cody: Stand back. Take a deep breath. You are
getting sucked into...
the bottomless money pit of "improvements". I am not saying don't do it
(rods, pistons, etc) but just be aware of what you are doing and have a
fixed budget. We already lost one S-car club member here (Vancouver) who
just kept going and going with the improvements until he found he was in
over his financial head and ended up selling the car (the Devil) to get out
of the cycle.
Its like a drug, I know. But moderation is a good thing. Just 'cause there
are modifications that can be made, it doesn't mean you have to make them.
If you think you are going to compete with Hap, or Mance or Rod Haney (the
latter two no longer have their S-cars for various reasons) then think
again. Hap is always going to win.
But hey, that's just my view point from six years on the 'list.

Heh, Cody, you live waaaaay too close to Everspend... beware, don't look
into the light. Thin air up their must be gettin to ya...
FWIW, unless your consumption is real bad or you can find a demonstrable
performance loss due to it, chock it up to normal thirst... a refillable
like gas... like the rest of us, heh heh. Think about making it run
'better' (FMIC), like you are 'on the other hand'.
Unless you gots big plans to either a) keep the car to infineon, or 2) go
for big big power, of course. If not, the lower end has proven able to
manage the reasonable levels smart power, you're pouring your $ down the
wrong drain, IMHO.
-Paul also pondering how much is enough, now where are them HIDs K.
