I guess based on what Mihnea said that the CR will be "less" w/ the 7A
head and stock pistons. 9.0:1 vs. 9.3:1 can anyone use this tool
accurately to confirm?
http://www.turbofast.com.au/Tfcomp.html
Bore: 3.19
Stroke 3.4
Deck Height ??
Gasket Thickness ??
Head Volume?
Mihnea Cotet- "Actually, if he's using the 7A head, stock undished
pistons and metal head
gasket, the CR will be 9.0:1.
The 7A head has the same combustion chambers volume as a 3B/AAN/ABY/ADU
and
the difference in CR in 20vt vs. 20v NA engines is only due to pistons
dishes.
The 9.0:1 is due to the metal head gasket that's thicker than the
original
paper unit, and the RS2 (equipped with a metal gasket from the factory)
had
9.0:1 CR."

If you LOWER the CR you will be able to stuff more air in before you
again get back to the safe pressure limit. Likewise, if you RAISE the
CR you won't be able to stuff as much air in before reaching the
safe pressure limit.
