[s-cars] Alternatives to OEM Coil Packs

This may have been discussed while I was away but...

With all the new VAG spark-fired cars using coil-on-plug technology, e.g. the 1.8T, not withstanding issues with Bremi, why can't we use that technology on our S-cars?  I am thinking down the road with the parts for our cars are NLA.

Same story with the PSO/POS  (shouldn't there be alternatives?)
