glad the fix ended up being so easy and cheap.
i just went through a bad experience with a plumber who wanted $525 to
repair a cracked cleanout fitting. i ended up fixing it myself for
$15 in parts and 45 minutes of my time (15 of which was spent staring at the
repaired fitting and flushing the toilets repeatedly to make sure it didn't
leak any more).
ever feel like you could do the job better than the "pros"?
