I can say I never had problems with a TAP stage 1.
There is quite a seat in the pants difference between stock and the TAP
stage 1, AFAIK it uses a 2.5 bar sensor.
Never had any issues with ping or anything, but there was a drop in mileage
as I recall. Not sure if it was significant though.
