[s-cars] "Fender Bender" Paint cleaning question

Anything that dissolves paint is strong enough to thin/dissolve the paint
below.

The best method is the way you already know....lots of elbow grease (and/or
a good random orbital with an EXTREMELY mildly abrasive pad), fine cut
polish, one layer at a time.

That's the only way to be sure..if you go down one layer at a time, you have
no fears of removing a layer too deep. If you get something that can cut
down multiple layers, then you risk cutting down too low.
