Ken,

I know for a fact that at the start of 2003, Audi AG changed their pricing
strucure a bit. On average parts prices went up a few percent, but their
strategy also changed such that maintenance type parts became relatively
cheaper, and low-volume hard-parts (like RS2 EM's, Wide 1st gears, etc)
became relatively more expensive. (6-9% hike for 2003 alone if I remember
correctly).

I'm not sure what the increase was for 2004.

It certainly makes sense that we should especially see bespoke RS2 parts
start to increase in price as the volume should be going down to a trickle.

Cheers,
Keith
