[s-cars] To get the sunroof switch off of the panel, just PULL?

Just pull.

Just pull the dial knob and you will reveal a nut holding the switch in
place.  If you take the sunroof switch panel off and try prying from the
other side you will break something.  BTDT.

To comment on the other thread.  I tried to put it back together, but it was
never quite right.  I pretty much destroyed the switch casing.  Of course at
$82 it's worth trying to rebuild it.
