[s-cars] AutoCheck Display Broke

Anyone have an idea why the auto-check display (box where it displays
warnings about low fuel, coolant, tail light out etc) might be totally
black?  I did get the audible warning on low fuel this AM but the
display is totally blank even at startup w/ the OK.  I have not pulled
the cluster to see if there is a loose connector but not sure how it
could have come loose but anything is possible.  Or maybe she is just
toast?
