Well, for my RS2'ed car, I simply have little need to look at the boost 
that often.  When cruising along, it is in vacuum, and the only time I 
am interested in what boost I am at is under full throttle (and I know 
what its peak is a priori)...  A quick look down near the shift lever 
doesn't distract for me (having gotten used to it with the 90q20v).  In 
my case, I don't see it as important as oil temp, coolant temp, etc.  I 
would actually prefer to have oil pressure to intake pressure, but, my 
'97 has battery gauge instead.  Once the software is tuned, the boost 
never exceeds that tuned point, anyhow.

I can see with your green beauty with electronic boost controller, etc. 
that it would be important information.
