Forgetaboutit, it's designed to last and at worst, you drill and tap
the manifold or scroll and replace thermocouple as needed.
I use the SPA EGT gauge, but I have a VDO on my shelf. You might also
want to look into Greddy, Defi and the other usual Jap stuff.
