There have now been several of us out here in Seattle who have had to go to
stiffer springs.
In my case, my car had been chipped from nearly day one. It's certainly
possible that
the spring went south. A similar car did not need a new spring. It had never
been modified.
To answer your question: yes, the boost gets dumped. I'm running 26 psi. It
runs a great
deal more if you don't dump it.
