[s-cars] Smoked Corner or Tail lights?

It wasn't so much your question, it was more your unsolicited, negative answer that did not resolve Noah's question.

I don't see the relation between a '83 Camaro and smoked tail lights. Could you delve a little further into that?
Since the Mk3 VW Jetta VR6's came stock from factory with the upper part's of their tail lights, that look cheap and ruin the car?
How about instead of saying something as negative as cheap (which entails poor quality, shitty craftsmanship, bad design, etc.) say "I do not like the look of that" or "It will look tacky" or "It would be out of place on that car". "Cheap" just has too much negative connotation to it, and sits wrong with me, that is all.

I've seen the tail lights in person, and I can tell you for sure that Hella did a fantastic job with them. They blink and illuminate with the proper colors in the proper areas. And, no, the smoked plastic does no inhibit the light output.
