I think that sounds like perfectly acceptable gas mileage.
I once filled the tank and drove 150 miles with two eggs between my foot and
the pedal (actually I might have used the cruise control at 70 mph). I
think I got 25 mpg. But it wasn't easy.
City driving...as in real city driving -- 2.5 miles each way to work over
the hills of san Francisco (NTBC w/the streets of San Francisco) really eats
gas. But not so bad. I think I still can average 15.
