My BTDT, FWIW, at ~95k I put in Mobil 1 10W30 and haven't had a problem
with new leaks.  The preceeding few oil changes were dino oil 
by the P.O; I don't have history before that.

I had a few small to moderate leaks from the valve cover before the 
synthetic switch, and believe it or not they actually seemed to get 
better after the synthetic.  (Although for a time after the change, I
was able to observe that burning synthetic smells different from 
natural oil...)  

The undertray attaches with quarter-turn fasteners at the rear and in
the wheel wells.
