I've had problems with this before on both of my previous Audis (knock
on Zebrano, not yet on the S6.. probably because I don't have my plates
yet!).  My 4ktq does it the most.  I can always eventually manage to get
the key to turn.  It usually requires some combination of lightly
jiggling the key or applying constant light pressure in the start
direction then turning the wheel in opposite directions.  Feels sort of
like a circus act every time i have to do it, and I typically swear like
a Carnie while I'm at it!

Really annoying, but I've always managed to get it going within a minute
or two at most.
