Hap - Do you have a copy of the AVCR Manual? Ever feel like you've shown up
at a gun fight with a dull paring knife?
After re-installing an analog boost gauge in the Green garbage can, I think
I've discovered that the AVCR has been set to limit boost @ 1.3 to 1.32
kg/cm^2** in all gears since it came of the shop. FWIW, I think the car ran
both PPIR and 2nd Creek that way.
I thought I had a pdf file with the AVCR programing instructions, but I
can't seem to locate it any place.
mike "getting ready to turn up the boost, & run a new 'prime' number ...
maybe..."
** FWIW, kg/cm^2 = @14.223 psi or 0.980665 Bar or 0.9678411 Atmos (std).
Note contrary to some popular notions, One (1) bar is not, and does NOT
equal 1 Atmosphere. It's close, but it is not one standard, i.e. 14.69595
commonly rounded to 14.7 psi, sea level atmosphere. On bar is 14.50377 psi,
or .9869233 Atmos.
