[s-cars] 9011/9012 Wipe Down/Cleaning

Got my bulbs today and am starting the whittling/filing of the upper tab.
My question is with what do you clean your bulbs before putting them in?  I
have typically used rubbing alcohol and a paper towel.  Pros/cons to this as
the 9011/9012 came in a plastic bag within a box.  I want to make sure they
are clean 'cuz they are a bit pricey even at that awesome GB price.
