I thought I sent this to the list but I realize I just sent it to Lee:

Thanks all for your insights. (Lee answered the following - My s4 has 17 inch
wheels, and Lee writes that his wife is using 16" s4 wheels. Lee are you
mistaken here, or was this for an earlier year?) Also how about the Pirelli all
seasons that have come out P-Neros(?) I think. I have heard they wear quickly
but aren't they the original tire? Are they comfortable?

People suggested Toyos but please remember I do need to do some snow driving.
Lee also suggested privately going to a 16" wheel. I like the way the RS4
wheels look, does anyone know if they come in 16"? I also like the new 5 spoke
option wheels which I also wonder if they come in 16".

As to the stereo, anyone know exactly where the amp is in the back area, I
would assume there is an access panel. Also how big is it? And the sub is in the
same place?

I used to have a Mercedes diesel wagon, which I loved, but in comparison I
have no qualms about this cars handling. Also my other car is a 1964 Ferrari
which again, slides all over the place on Michelin XWX's and I have gotten to
like having the car slide a bit. These Dunlaps on the car now don't slide, one
car I tested had some Kumho all seasons that did and it was a familiar
sensation.

Also the Mercedes wagon I had had an Xtant amp, with a three speaker position
OZ speaker set up, 10" sub in the custom cabinet with the amp and the mid and
highs in the air vents (tweeter) and regular speaker location. It really
sounded great very clean.  I don't think there is room for this sort of amp and
sub in this car. Has anyone experience with just changing the Bose speakers and
using less of them?

Thanks again all.

Best,

Yale
