[s-cars] Power Output Stage Connector -- where to get one?

Bob's recommendation was a good one:
AUDI stealers have an electrical kit put together by Hans und Franz that has
100's of connectors of all sorts pre crimped to a length (approx. 1') of
yellow wire. There is a P/N for the part, but this is not necessarily a P/N
for the pin, but rather the assembly. Their kit also includes a bunch of
difficult to find ty-wraps for attaching wires to sheet metal, etc.
The kit is a 3 cu. ft. gray plastic toolbox and is kept on the shop floor.
You need to ask to see the kit as the parts system doesn't resolve down to
the pin level >> in this case the parts guy let me do the rummaging.
I didn't think the wire gauge was as large as the one I was replacing so I
attached a second wire to double the wire cross section. Worked great.
Thanks, List.
Steve

If you need to get it going this weekend, the best you'll be able to do at
this stage is go to a local VW or Audi dealer whose parts department is open
on Sat. and get a wire to splice in. VW/Audi no longer supplies the
terminals loose and only sell them pre-crimped to a yellow wire. Bring the
broken one with you, if you still have it, to match it up. You'll have your
choice of wire gauge that it is crimped on to as well. It will come with
two terminals crimped on, one at each end, and you just cut it wherever is
most convenient for your application. Probably about $3-$4.
If later on you want to fix it so it looks stock, you can get the loose
terminals from Wurth. You'll also need the proper crimping tool, however.
