[s-cars] Building a Pressure Tester (checking for boost loss)

I too would like to see write up on this with pictures if possible and part numbers, I'd like to build this pressure tester..

I have the following but haven't had time to try it yet, is this correct for UrS-Cars?

Using 3" ABS pipe end cap (the screw in kind for a clean out) with the threads ground off the outside and an air hose fitting drilled into the center to use with a compressor and a regulator. Remove the hose from the MAF, stuff the tester into the hose, clamp it, and pressurize the system with 15 to 20 lbs of air. More pressure than that risks damage to the pressure transducer in the ECU. Block the hose from the turbo intake multi-port hose to the crankcase ventillation (goes to the head).

Cheers, /James.

I too need to pressurize my system to check for leaks. I seem to remember a
write-up on how to both do this and how to build a pressure tester. Can
somebody point me in the right direction. I think it had to do with some of
those PVC plumbing pieces but...

Regards,

Mark
