[s-cars] power loss question

Mike, can you send this attachment to both myself and Rob... we where discussion about the KS yesterday and how you can test them... I looked up in Bentley but it offers no real advice, the book says you can't test them electrically only the cable for continuity... and if you suspect the KS, check your DTC, and replace ! 

I have access to a Fluke Data Logger and I was contemplating sourcing the signal to see what it produces...

Both knock sensors are located on the driverside of the engine block.
Attached is a copy of Section 28 of the Dyment Fuel Injection & Ignition
repair manual, including a blow of illustration 24-763.  The knock sensors
are items #14 & #24.  The will be difficult to see from the top of the motor
since they are under the intake manifold.  

Knock sensor trouble shooting & repair info is set forth in section/pages
28-28 & 28-29
