[s-cars] 3 Valve Cover gaskets in 2 years

Although I have been a long time reader of this forum, I only post occasionally. I have a 93 S4.

I have replaced my valve cover gasket 3 times in the last 2 years. What I am noticing is oil pooling just below the driver side of the valve cover and leaking near the back. More oil than I care to live with. I have heard leaking valve cover gaskets is a common problem but this getting ridiculous.

I am thinking of taking the valve cover in to get machined flat (if it needs it).

Anybody have/had a similiar problem? How did you solve it?
