Mike,
If you've not already done so, call Phil Long Audi, tell them you want
to talk to the head of their service department; tell them: what
happened; that they need to come and pick up your car ASAP and commence
repairs; that they will be paying for whatever it costs; that you need a
loaner to get to and from work; and that you look forward to getting
your car back ASAP. If they blanch at any of this: call the consumer
protection department of the AG's office; the better business bureau; a
local lawyer who understand's Colorado comsumer protection law. Tell
the lawyer what happened and that you will pay him or her a few hundred
to write a nasty gram to Phil Long. If more leverage is needed, call a
couple of the local TV stations, newspapers, whatever and ask tell them
you have a great story for one of their consumer advocates.
Good luck!

>Hello everyone,
>Last week my local dealer, Phil Long Audi in Colorado Springs replaced the timing belt on my '93 S4. On Sunday, with less than 50 miles since the repair, the belt shredded and probably lunched the motor. I need some BTDT on how to force the dealer to cover the repair. Suggestions?
