[s-cars] Tools for RS2 Exhaust Manifold Install

Hi all:

I'm preparing for the RS2 EM installation and have studied the posts by
Cody, Todd Kramer, Jerry Scott and Bill Mahoney.

For the bottom 3 nuts that are hard to reach, I was thinking of taking
the wrench modification one step further. What I'm thinking is
fabricating a wrench similar to a distributor wrench.

Instead of just doing one 90 degree bend, I thought it may be possible
to add length to the wrench to clear the manifold and put another 90
degree bend upwards to get the leverage required to tighten the nut.

Something like this:

                       |
                       |
                       |
| |
|----------------------

To do this I would have to weld a piece of metal onto the wrench. I have
access to a mig welder and a acetelyne torch, but I'm not that
experienced. Is it possible to a piece of metal onto a cast wrench? Or
would it be easier to join two wrenches together?

Any experienced welders out there?

Thanks,

Sean
