Indeed in order to determine if said POS is actually a POS, or if it's the
heat transfer and heat sink's being themselves P'sOS one would need to take
that temp of the POS while running and producing it's output power.

Perhaps even one might surmise that the POS is becoming a POS due to low
voltage caused by a POS alternator or POS battery.
These can increase current draw thru the POS, thereby increasing the heat
output.

Now I could go on all nite with this but I feel "the list" eyeing me for a
Colorado mafia hit.
But since I am near sea level, I'm not worried. They only have power above
8000 ft ;-)
