[s-cars] IR keys and their battery

Sounds like a battery problem.  I don't know what you mean when you say you
need to push it to get the door lock tumbler to turn..

I have a 93 S4 and was wondering about the infrared key.  I don't know
if it has ever worked.  When I push the button on the key should the
doors unlock automatically?  Currently when I push the button I don't
see the bulb light up on the key itself, but sometimes I need to push it
to get the door lock tumbler to turn.  Do I need a battery?

I am running a K&N Cone filter and take care to clean and oil every 3-4
months.  Now wheather the wear on my old block was a result of dirty air

Hmmm, so, then installing my K&N 2 years ago and not touching it once
since prolly wasn't overly bright then eh?  Heh heh.  Damn, where did
all those months go?  So, I should put the new OE paper one I bought 3
months ago in then, huh?  In the immortal words from the Bob Rossato
school of installing parts...  "I'll get to it"...
