[s-cars] koni's vs bilsteins

In my experience using both makes on various cars (but only Koni so far
on my S6), beyond whatever compression and rebound damping factor
differences they might be designed to have, the Bilsteins seem to add a
subtle new resonance. I have always assumed that because gas is
compressible and oil essentially isn't, the Bilstein's use of gas adds a
higher natural frequency while performing its function of damping the
spring/wheel natural frequency. I have no information supporting this
theory, nor do I know if my observation is corrupted by the newer shock
transmitting road vibration more easily than the older shock that was
replaced. I've never felt a strong urge to buy both types and do a
multiple blind swap test.
