[s-cars] Attempted Translations from Garrett to KKK Speak

Thanks Jim. There seems to be some discrepancy between yours & Mihnea's
numbers.

Mihnea #"s small big height
> K26 inches 1.889  2.598  23mm -> 0.9055"

vs. 1.867 2.694 0.822"
             0.022 0.096 0.0835
diff in mm's .56 2.44 2.12mm

Those numbers, 2mm+, seem to me to be far enough apart to raise the
question, could we be looking at different KKK wheels, or do we possibly
have measurement discrepancies of some other sort?

FWIW Minhea describes his wheel he measured as:
> KKK ratio (Minor/Major): 72% (comp wheel type is 2672)
> trim: 62% if my maths are still right.
{sic. there may have been a math error here, I think the number is
53.9%)
> The wheel has 12 blades and is about 23mm high.

I'm looking for Ned Ritchie's post a month or two back on 'interpreting
the KKK numbering system' to see if there might be a clue in there.

I know the height is a bit more difficult to measure since the base of
the blades slope. FWIW, I get pretty close to the same height # for the
K24 wheel as you have for your RS2.
I measured off the height of the "taller" of the blade pairs to the base
of the wheel casting, I come up with @ 20.5mm or 0.808" tall. For the
RS2 number, my rounding (48.9%) would suggest 49 trim before 48 for
whatever difference in final result that might mean.

For the rest of the Friday Afternoon laughs, does anyone want to make a
stab based on any of the above, as to which, if any of the generally
"published" Garrett compressor maps the K24 &/or the RS2 wheels would or
should be most similar to?

Again, thanks for the input.

mike
