[s-cars] Bilstein Sports and stock springs

Matt,

What ever it is that you have for springs/struts can not be what I have.
Unless you don't mind the front tires rubbing on the inner fender every time
you back out of your driveway.
They also rub on heavy braking if the wheels aren't pointed straight ahead.
I also have 2 right hand turns that go immediately up hill and if I don't
come to almost a complete stop I will bottom out the front suspension.
Not to mention the severe pounding the chassis has taken this winter because
it is so stiff and I am not even running the 17". I have 15" studded snows
on it.

This car is my daily driver. If I want to take something out for a
thrashing, I'll drive the urq. Which by the way is not lowered either.
I guess I have to remember you don't live in the north. If you did, you
would have a different opinion, as I guess I would as well if I lived in the
south.

I have my 3B 20v engine block in the back of the avant right now and am
somewhat nervous about tomorrows drive to Northern European.

Mike
