Truth be told and prolly no surprise... my flap has always been askew..
since the day I bought the car.
(which after perusing the new S car data base (which sadly I was unable
to get myself into) I think myself and maybe the Hapster are the only
two original owners?? (95.5 S6 Avant was $48k+ IIRC.)
But back to the flap, my 63o low setting has always been purdy durn warm
and the low setting (fresh air) has always been a little bit warm.
Lived with it;)
I've been waiting for Mike to do the BTDT prior to venturing in there
myself.
Next up for me I think is a new valve cover gasket install.  I wonder if
there is a proper way to install these to last forever or they are
destined to fail like the pos, the gas pedal, ebrake, etc etc?
