But the good news is -- having just done this myself a few months ago
when I got my car -- although the air box is a real pain in the ass to 
get apart the first time, it isn't nearly as hard as you would expect 
to put back together.

Two potentially useful facts about this job that might save a few minutes: 
you don't need to remove the heat shield, and the screws on the top of the 
airbox attach a panel which doesn't need to be removed either. 

I had to vacuum mine out, as one of the previous owners apparently drove
through a sandstorm at some point.  How that happens on this continent,
I don't know...
